Digital Designer




I got my start designing club flyers for 111 Minna Gallery where I was introduced to the curator who soon put me in charge of marketing for the gallery’s monthly art exhibitions, creating promotional print pieces, ads for magazines such as Juxtapoze, SFAQ and Hi-Fructose. This is a working relationship I still keep to this day. 

Once finishing school I began working for Restoration Hardware under the creative direction of Robert Valentine on the Catalog team where I honed my InDesign and Photoshop skills on the Holiday catalog. This required a creative eye for layout and a refined sense of typography to deliver the product in an interesting way while adhering to brand guidelines. At the end of the contract I did some freelance design work on some websites, &, while diving into a branding job for Red Door Coffee, a 111 Minna Gallery expansion.

I soon returned to Restoration Hardware, this time to join the web creative team. Here my duties include the design, production and maintenance of web graphics such as collection galleries, product swatches and image searching across extensive databases; manage the design and production of marketing emails and html for the Baby&Child, Outlet, Warehouse & Contract brands. I create Photoshop mockups for review for marketing emails across all sales channels, update landing pages and create web banner sets consistent with brand guidelines. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, ability to track multiple projects and tracking of comments during the proofing cycle. It is also a very collaborative process, something that I feel is a great way to grow.
